The different exercise forms in Pilates Anders

At Pilates Anders, we work with a variety of exercise formats to help you improve your strength, balance and flexibility in a versatile and challenging way. Our classes consist of mat exercises and devices such as the Reformer, Stability Chair, Cadillac and Ladder Barrel. Each piece of equipment has its own unique features and offers specific benefits to your workout.

Mat

Mattraining
Matpilates is the foundation of pilates. Without equipment, you perform exercises that focus on core strength, flexibility and balance. Using your own body weight and sometimes small tools, such as balls and rubber bands, you build strength and control. Matpilates helps you master the fundamentals of pilates, which forms the basis for the exercises on the machines.

Reformer

Reformer
The Reformer is a popular pilates machine with a spring-loaded platform that moves back and forth. The device provides resistance through adjustable springs and helps you improve your strength, flexibility and stability. The Reformer allows you to perform a wide range of exercises, from core strengthening to stretching, always with a focus on control and precision. It is suitable for both beginners and advanced users and can be adjusted to your personal goals and level.

Chair

Stability Chair
The Stability Chair (also known as Wunda Chair) is a compact device perfect for strength and stability training. The device consists of a platform and a pedal with adjustable springs. Exercises on the Stability Chair focus on strengthening your core, legs, and arms. The small, stable base challenges you to maintain your balance and better control your muscles. The Stability Chair is ideal for building strength and balance in a compact, high-intensity setting.

Ladder Barrel

Cadillac
The Cadillac is a larger pilates machine with a sturdy frame equipped with springs, handles and a trapeze. It offers endless possibilities for exercises that promote strength, mobility and flexibility. On the Cadillac, you can perform exercises that focus on opening the chest, stretching the back, and strengthening your core. The machine offers plenty of support, making it particularly suitable for recovery and rehabilitation, as well as challenging exercises for advanced users.

Cadillac

Ladder Barrel
The Ladder Barrel is designed for exercises that stretch and strengthen the back, hips and hamstrings. With its curved design, the Ladder Barrel helps you perform movements that improve your flexibility and trunk stability. This device is ideal for exercises that increase the mobility and strength of your back and legs, and helps to improve your posture. It is a great tool for deeper stretching and strengthening core muscles.
