What to expect at Pilates Different
We always start with an introductory session in which we discuss your needs and any limitations. By looking closely at your posture, we get a clear picture of how your body moves and where unconscious compensations may be occurring when you are physically out of balance.
Based on your goals, we create a personalized plan. We carefully choose which exercises and which devices are most suitable for you. In addition to the mat, we use a variety of equipment, such as the Reformer, Cadillac, and Chair. We also have a variety of tools - think balls, stability balls, fitness rings, and flex bands - so that we can offer the right support for everyone and you can safely work on your strength.
Our classes are always in small groups: a maximum of five participants on the mat, a maximum of three on the machines, or in a duo or private setting. For best results, we recommend a minimum of two classes per week, but together we will look at what is feasible.
