YOUR TRAINER: SASKIA ROESINK
STOTT Pilates Certified Instructor with 11 Years of Experience
Throughout the practical portion of the training, you’ll receive personalized guidance from Saskia.
Her philosophy is that a great Pilates instructor needs to be able to look beyond the exercise itself. It’s not just about knowing what to teach, but understanding the body in front of you and knowing how to adapt your teaching accordingly.
During the practical training, you’ll have the opportunity to practice, make mistakes, ask questions, and gradually develop your own confidence and teaching style.
Saskia has been a podiatrist since 1992 and a certified STOTT Pilates instructor since 2015. She completed her Pilates training in Cape Town, South Africa, at The Movement Lab, and in The Hague at K’Dans.
Her passion for Pilates began years ago when she discovered this unique approach to movement. Through her work as a podiatrist, where she works daily with people experiencing foot, posture, and movement-related issues, she became increasingly convinced of the value Pilates can offer.
Pilates fosters greater awareness of the body, movement, and posture, and, with professional guidance, can help people move and function more effectively.
Saskia's Philosophy
By learning to look at the way someone stands and moves from a different perspective, we can help people move better and work toward preventing unnecessary strain and injury.
Pilates is not only effective; it is also an engaging, challenging, and intelligent way to move.
Saskia looks forward to sharing her knowledge, experience, and passion for Pilates with you throughout the Teacher Training.
